"THE INFLUENCE OF A GOOD TEACHER CAN NEVER BE ERASED"

This day was celebrated as TEACHERS’ DAY with full enthusiasm, zest, and liveliness. It is to acknowledge and appreciate the immense hard work and effort put in by the teachers for our progress and success.

Student council 2019 - 2020 along with the 12th graders of AJI worked tirelessly for commemorating this special day. They came up with unique ideas for a fun-filled assembly. The assembly had quite many events of which the highlights were when the teachers walked the RED CARPET and wore handmade sashes with catchy and humourous taglines written on them. This was followed by a few games like football and dodge ball in which the teachers showed good competitive spirit and enjoyed to the fullest. The red carpet event, the applause, the cheer, the smiles together made the assembly entertaining and joyous. A delicious cake along with breakfast was also arranged by the 11th and 12th graders for the teachers to end the assembly on a good note.

The student council also continued with the idea of PEER TEACHING which was followed in the previous years. In this venture, the students of grade 11 and 12 took up the positions of teachers and taught the lower grades.

Values of responsibility and compassion were shown by the students throughout the day. This PEER TEACHING gave the students a different perspective and they realized the responsibilities and difficulties faced by the teachers. The students worked efficiently and were involved in effective learning and teaching.

Peer learning optimizes students learning outcomes and provides a more holistic, value-added and quality-enhancing education that will better prepare students for the needs of the workforce in this millennium.

At the end of the day, students put forward their opinions and unanimously agreed that teaching indeed is the most challenging profession.

It was a joyous occasion that will be cherished and remembered for long.

"EDUCATION IS THE PASSPORT TO THE FUTURE FOR TOMORROW BELONGS TO THOSE WHO PREPARE FOR IT TODAY.

"A TEACHER PLANTS THE SEEDS OF KNOWLEDGE, SPRINKLES THEM WITH LOVE AND PATIENTLY NURTURES THEIR GROWTH TO PRODUCE TOMORROW'S DREAMS!!”
